I was stubborn to the idea of technology, and whether I like it or not, it is changing and affecting students of the new generation at a rapid rate that I cannot control. It has been exciting to learn about posting archives, making videos, and creating lesson plans around technology based programs that are interactive, fun and educational.

reflections on the semester
we sure have learned a lot this semester. from blogging to google docs, to making our own educational videos and so much more. my thoughts on using technology in the classroom have really changed over the course of the semester. I see myself using googledocs in the classroom for sure. Not only are students online and using computers multiple times a day, but if offers them a space to reflect in a personal private setting out of the classroom, but it also saves paper, and could help with organization, and grading. It is also a useful tool to keep the parents informed, and up to date with what is going on in the classroom. Audacity is also a great communication tool, and gives the students the opportunity to be creative, and work independently. I do not see myself using twitter in the classroom, and my thoughts on that haven't really changed over the course of the semester.

Google Docs
I think Google Docs is great for teachers, students and parents. Google docs has a lot to offer, and allows for simple ways to organize and communicate lots of information, making it a lot easier for a teacher to keep docs all in one place.

Wikis...
I like wikis. Although they are not always dependable, and the information may be false, it is still interesting to read, and have the opportunity to read and edit yourself. Don't have too much more to say about that.
Blogs in the Classroom
I think Blogging could be beneficial in the classroom. It is another form of writing for the students and gives them a chance to share their thoughts. It does however, enforce students to be on the internet more, I am still unsure.

blogging
I am still indifferent about all these online technological social resources we are using. Although I find it hard to really find wiki's useful, I could potentially see myself using them in the future to help for a fast, available and resourceful option for sharing information with my students and collegues
